Preposition Confusion

Can you really blame her at 2.4, but Siena is getting some prepositions confused. I’m recording it here for posterity because it’s so amusing when she does it. She’s got the basics of relational ones like above, under, behind, after, and before. But she’s struggling with the difference between “to” and “with” right now. As in:

“We’re having dinner to each other.”

“Mommy’s snuggling to me.”

It’s one of those speech patterns that is endearingly incorrect, and we’ll be both happy and sad when she finally grows out of it and gets it right all the time. Kind of like “more highway.”
