Drinking Milk

Tonight during dinner, Siena said to us, “I almost always drink milk, and you two hardly ever drink milk. Why don’t you drink milk?” I think this is the first time she’s ever asked us about that. Whether she’s noticed before and never asked, or just noticed for the first time, I’m not sure. But she finally was comparing herself with us on equal terms and wanting to know why there was this particular difference.

Mama answered that we are done growing and don’t need as much milk, whereas she and her sister still have lots of growing to do, and need milk to help them grow. Great answer!

I didn’t have any answer, and instead was thinking, “I need to remember to blog about this.”
