During the week-long cousins’ week a few weeks back, Siena got to play some tennis. She has demonstrated significant improvement over prior efforts, and even got a lot better just in the course of the morning. Here is the “before” video, where she was trying to hit balls after basically throwing them down. She doesn’t have a lot of time to react to the ball, and sometimes she throws it down at a bad angle.

You’ll see this and note the following: (1) Cute tennis outfit. This comes courtesy of Nonna. (2) She seems pretty decent, hitting a few of them over the net pretty well, right?

I then suggested she hold the ball up higher and just let it drop. Immediately upon doing this, she started hitting almost all of them, as shown here:

We are now wondering if we should give her some tennis lessons.
